The Summer Games are Special Olympics Virginia's largest event of the year featuring more than 1,200 athletes competing in five different sports. ABLEnow was at the 2023 event to talk with the community and celebrate the accomplishments.

Special Olympics Virginia athlete Rose Reeder was excited to share her experience as an ABLEnow account holder.

“I enjoyed spreading the word about ABLEnow. I met representatives of the program and learned more about what you can do with an account.”

Rose personally uses her ABLEnow account to save for her future. When asked if she would encourage others to open an ABLEnow account, she replied, “Yes, in a heartbeat. It’s a great opportunity.”
