March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month

Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month takes place each March to celebrate the inclusion of people with disabilities. The 2026 theme is: “We’re Here: Then, Now, Always.”

ABLEnow joins the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities (NACDD) and many other organizations to raise awareness about inclusion and the barriers that people with disabilities still face. The goal is to build a world where everyone has the chance to thrive.

ABLEnow accounts represent a significant step towards achieving this goal, empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fuller, more financially secure lives. If you or someone you know could benefit from an ABLEnow account, take the time to explore this valuable resource and its potential to make a meaningful difference.

Learn how to participate in Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month by exploring the resources on the NACDD website.
